The rain continues to pour. Lightning above flashes over the city. Thunder claps all around; frightning young children. People walk by with umbrellas and dressed in the proper attire. :: Mark stummbles toward a building. His hand outstretched and he pulls himself in. His black hair is matted down, nearly covering his whole face, due to the amount of rain caught in it. :: Mark lets out a sigh once his back connects with the brick wall. He looks up at the dark blanketed sky, his eyes practially dead of any life force. Images of Gloria and Kam flow into his mind's eye. 'Do I really want to leave them?' More, graphic, bleeding, hurtful images come to him. 'Yeah.... I do.... I need to leave; the last thing I want is for them to get hurt.' :: Mark hoits himself up and staggers away.

"DON'T GLORIA'S FEELINGS COUNT FOR ANYTHING, MARK?!?!!!" Kameron shouts over the blizzard. The twenty year male stops adruptly; Kam runs up to him and grips onto the back of his shirt. "You can't just leave without saying anything! You're all she has left," seeing Mark's jaw drop the slighest bit, she adds more. "You're all she has at her HOME, in Jersey! If you weren't around she'd have to move in with her aunt and uncle and older cousins! You wouldn't let her move away... away from friends and have to start all over again the first time, why start now?" At this point tears begin to flow down Kam's face. :: 'Why isn't he saying anything!?' :: "Mark, please don't go! So what if she found out your secret! You know well as I do that she doesn't, nor ever will, hate you!" Kam buries her head in his back. "You can't leave her... leave us.... After all she's been through you gave her strength, hope, light, you never left her. Why leave now?" her voice is a soft whisper. "You're not a monster, Mark. You knew who she was and didn't attack. Please don't go...." she chokes back a sob. :: Through the smell of the cold snow Mark can smell Kam's hot, salty tears. He looks up at the dark blanketed sky.

Mark is staying! Right now it feels like my heart is soaring through the sky and into cloud nine. I'm so happy! But... why does he look upset? :: "I never want to hurt you, Gloria." his voice is low, a light deep whisper, not wanting the ease-droppers to over hear. :: "I know," I tell him and begin to carass his cheek. 'Will Onee-chan be mad if I kiss him?' I know she, Syon, Yusuke, Kuwabara, basically everybody is staring at us, though staying hidden. :: I think back to when Reina first took over; a shiver goes down my spine. "I never want to hurt you, too." His eyes widen at my hushed tone. I slowly raise up on my toes. "But... I don't want you to forget that... it will be okay, Mark-kun." I wrap my arms around his neck, one hand tangles itself in his messy black hair, and I kiss his lips.

I look up into Mark's dark green eyes and give him a tiny smile. The sky opens up and the snow begins to fall. 'Does he know how much I care for him? How much I worry over him when it's a full moon? I how much I... I....' :: ~Like him?~ Reina finishes for me. :: 'Yeah....' Throughout our entire relationship not one of us said IT, though I can understand. (In terms a little girl's father is her first love - not sexually of course. But, he teaches us how to love the opposite sex. The same thing with young boys and their mothers). :: My feet are silent as I walk up to him, my fingers entire twine with his. I stand on my toes and kiss the corner of his lips. "Daisuki...." I whisper to him. Mark closes his eyes and hums in reply.

"Merry Christmas, Everyone!!" Shina walks into the hospital with a bagful of presents. The tiny kids squeal in glee and clap their hands. :: "Shina-hime!!" They chours. The doctors, nurses, and kids are dressed in formal/comfortable clothing. Blaze prances in behind her; a jingling collar around his neck and antlers on his head. The kids giggle behind their hands at his kawaii-ness. Shina laughs with them (she's dressed as Santa Clause's daughter) and begins to hand out each of the gifts. Each of give a large smile, their families beside them. :: Yasa watches from a corner of the room his expression is slightly blank. He gazes out of the window beside him and stares through the snow covered pine tree, to the road. 'I wonder where my family is....' :: "Yasa-kun~!!" he looks toward his princess and smiles. Shina walks up to him, crouches down, and holds out his gift. :: "You want it?" Blaze jumps up on Yasa's lap and barks. Yasa nods eagerly and takes it. Everyone watches as he opens it. The gift is small, square in shape, and brightly gift wrapped. The young teen walks behind Yasa and gazes over his shoulder. :: Tears well in his green eyes as he stares at the picture (of him, Shina, Blaze, Dr. Santo, and Masa-sensi all smiling and being happy). Shina bends her upper half and wraps her arms around Yasa's shoulders. "We're family, no matter what." she whispers in his ear. His tears escape his eyes and he grips onto Shina's arms.

Kam lets out a sigh. "It sure has been quiet without Gloria, ne, Jason?" From her side her older brother, Jason, with dark hair and hazel eyes nods in agreement. Their pants make slight swishing sounds as they walk around their Uncle's backyard. "I keep expecting her to jump outta nowhere squealing 'Onee-chan!!!' and glomp you." He lightly chuckles at the numerous memories. She giggles hand, nodding. :: "Hai, hai." On instinct she looks at the bushes and on/around the trees. Her blue eyes sadden. "It's like she just vanished into thin air...." :: "What?" Jason looks down at Kam. :: Kam snaps her head up. "What?" both sibilings stare at each other. After a few moments the eldest shrugs and walks over toward his training station. Again, Kam sighs. She walks over to her bow and arrow and stands in the correct posture. She let's go of the arrow; hitting the bull's eye. :: 'Where are you, Imouto-chan?' she asks herself.

'According to Pascal's principle, a change in pressure at any point in a fluid is transmitted EQUALLY in all directions THROUGHOUT the fluid. ...' I let out a yawn; the science notes quickly fill me with boredom, not to mention Kurama has been making me study for three hours. "Stupid fuzz-butt." I insult him; Reina chuckles beside me, on the bed. :: I let another yawn and small tears form in the corners of my brown eyes. I groggily gaze down at the blue-ink notes. 'Hydraulic Systems: a device that uses PASCAL principle (EQUAL PRESSURE throughout). ....' I feel myself sway from side to side. "So sleepy...." I place my notebook on the bed and my head on my knees. "Sleep... sleep... ... sleep...." Relaxing darkness over takes me and I fall to the ground; I feel the sudden pain on my right side.

I skip down the busy streets of Tokyo, I hold out the back so it doesn't hit me. I'm surprised that Minamino doesn't ask me to stop - instead I hear the constant sound of chuckling from him. Hearing that sweet sound makes me smile. :: Slowly I stop my skiping and look up at him (finially a guy taller than me!). "Oi, Minamino-san?" :: "Hai?" he has a really nice smile. :: "Eto..." I stop all together and draw small circles with my foot. A blush rises to my cheeks; I'm rather embrassed at the question I'm about to ask him. "Is it okay if I take your picture? My friend, back in the States, would really like to see you. Ya' see I've been talking about you - I hope that's okay by the way - and she's been getting kinda... antsy." My blush darkens as I look up at him through my dark brown bangs. :: He brushes some strands away from my face, his smile doesn't falter. "Sure, Kit-chan, that sounds wonderful. And I don't mind, it is only fair seeing that you talk about her and I've seen pictures of you two." He pushes back my bangs with his warm hand and down the side of my face. :: I squeal and open my new digital camera. I rip away from him and hold it up to my eye. "Smile~!!!" he does so and I take the shot.
